Meet Our Yoga Guides

Kimberly Hardick

Kimberly HardickI had the great fortune of meeting Beth in the fall of 2008 when we took our first Journey together. We complimented each other so well that we took another trip to India and Thailand in the fall of 2009. I call Beth my 'Travel Guardian' or 'Guru' as she takes care of the nit and gritty. I am the 'Om girl' — a little less detail-oriented, a little more zen. Between the two of us, we create magic — one journey at a time.

I have been practicing yoga for close to 10 years, and the more I know, the more I realize I do not know. I learn every day from my students and have been so blessed to have so many wonderful people trust me with their yoga training and growth. I am the founder of the Colibre School of Hatha Yoga, which is a collaboration of my many years of study and practice from many amazing teachers who have been gracious enough to impart on me their wisdom. This program is in its infancy and is evolving every month as a living breathing entity.

Kimberly HardickI am not an alignment-based teacher, rather I focus on function rather then form, making yoga available to all people. My desire is not to get you on the cover of the Yoga Journal Magazine, but to help you listen to the wisdom of your body and find what is best for you today! My classes are open to all levels with special emphasis given to heart openers and inversions while linking movement with the breath. Modifications are always given, and each student is encouraged to listen to the wisdom of the body taking modifications if needed, yet really exploring his or her edge. Time is given in each class to explore inversions, from headstand to handstand and forearm balance and legs up the wall. Open yourself up to all that you can be.

"It is only with the heart that we can see clearly. For what is essential, is hidden from the eyes." –The Little Prince

Trip Reviews

"Beth, the most amazing thing about this trip was watching you in action. Setting the stage for the magic we would experience. And magic it was, around every corner. Words and photos and stories won’t convey to the folks back home what we have seen and done. And it was all due to your efforts and love. Blessings upon your future journeys and the fortunate people who will be traveling with you."

~Bob Ferry, Oct. 2009
